Kattery Kennels is primarily a hobby breeder of unique & quality
American Cocker Spaniels.  We breed puppies to provide loving homes
a suitable dog to compliment the family.  We will NEVER sell our dogs or
pups to a broker or petstore and screen new owners to ensure our
puppies/dogs are getting the best of care.

1 year congenital health defect warranty.
AKC registration. (limited unless otherwise
specified and agreed upon).
Current Vaccinations
Examined by our Veterinarian prior to leaving
and a health certificate can be issued if
requested.
Micro-chipped and jointly registered to us
with the Animal Recovery Network.
AKC Certified 3 Generation Pedigree for each
litter!
Signed Contract listing the above as well as
any other provision.
Eukanuba Food Sample.
Age appropriate Puppy Toy.
Dog Traveling Crate if required.
When we evaluate potential homes/owners for
each dog we look for the following items.
Children in the home, their ages and
involvement expectations with the new
puppy/dog.
Current Pets
Current relationship with local veterinarian
Intentions for the new pup/dog. (agility,
breeding, companion, hunting, showing etc)
Established area for pet to exercise and
reside.
Housing.  If you rent we will ask to see a copy
of permission from your landlord to have a
pet and contact them to confirm this.
References.  We will ask for at least 3 and
follow thru with checking them as well.  1 may
be your local vet the other needs to be
someone who knows you for at least 2 years.

Compliance with local laws and ordinances in
your area.
Proper care and medical attention for your
puppy/dog.
Informing us or returning puppy/dog to us if
you are unable to keep it.
Having your new pup/dog checked by a
veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival.
We will not release a puppy/dog without a
signed contract.  This is to protect the
puppy/dog more than anything else.
Occasionally we have adults that are retiring from our breeding program
but still make great pets that are available for adoption.  Most of these
dogs will be already neutered unless specified otherwise.  I want to
make sure you understand that we are not "dumping" these older dogs
because we think they are "useless" to us.  The fact of the matter is they
are welcome to live here forever unless a home develops that can give
them a better life than we can.  Why should we hold them back from
finding a family that might have them as the center of attention, when
here we divide our attention amongst everyone?

All of the animals that leave for new homes are
Current on Vaccinations
Examined by our Veterinarian prior to leaving and a health certificate

We require a signed contract and payment in full before they go home
with you.

We welcome new or serious potential owners to visit our facilities and meet
their new dog here.  If that is not possible for some reason we will drive half
way not in excess of 2 hours to meet with you to deliver your new puppy/dog
OR we will providing the right situation ship a dog via airline (we prefer Delta's
Pets First program) to you.  Shipping is an additional fee that the new owner
must pay in advance in order to obtain a reservation.
