Mikey was known as 'Garnet', a "gemlike"
nickname, to honor his mom Jewel, until his
new mom chose his name, .
With Buff and White Partis it is sometimes
difficult to capture their "buff" markings at
this age.  They are there, just not visible to
the camera etc.  As time goes on the spots
will be easier to see online.  You can click
on each picture to view a larger image.
Already at just a week old you can see the
"buff/red" pigment much more visibly.  The
color on his nose is also filling in (will be either
black or brown when done.
Yesterday his eyes were not
open at all, this morning tho
you can see he is starting to
peek out at you!  1/31/2009
My teeth have started to come
in (2/14/09) and this week I
will start to lap puppy formula
from a bowl on my own.
This week I am eating canned
puppy food all on my own!  By
the end of this week I will be
eating dry kibble too!

Living with
Candace and
family.
This week it was time for
my first bath!  I am weaned
from Momma and eating
puppy food all on my own.  
I also have been going
outside to potty every 2
hours and am working on
potty training.
I am looking forward to
going home to my mom
next weekend!
Last week Tristen and
Charlie left for their new
homes.  So it is just
Mikey & Ruby here for
now.  They are really
getting playful this week
and enjoy puppy toys.  
He is really looking
forward to meeting his
mom and arriving at his
new home this coming
Saturday!
This week I got to spend with my
only sister "Ruby" but also got to
play with Kat's goddaughter who's
first big word was "Puppies" and
adores them.  They play and play
and love posing for pics only
when they are tired out!  Mikey is
on the plane flying to meet his
new mom in California and we are
anxiously waiting to hear that he
has arrived and its 'love at first
sight'.
Words don't always say enough~
you can tell Mikey is loved and
adored and spoiled rotten! (as they
all should be!  We've had several
conversations on the phone with
Mikey's mom over the first few
weeks, (tips on housetraining etc)
and he is doing super!  TY Candace
for the pics it makes missing him just
a bit easier! 4/20/09
