| Buttons gave us somewhat of a surprise as we did not see her tie with Sunshine so it wasn't was pregnant. Late at night (12:40 to be exact) she decided that it was time to bring her pups into the world. The first one born was the open marked chocolate and white parti female. An hour later her only boy came (the b/w roan) parti female arrived and we realized that the first must be a chocolate (without black to really compare to and since the pup was wet at birth we just didn't realize the chocolate as neither parent is chocolate tho they carry the gene). Closer to 4am the last chocolate and gene). Closer to 4am the last chocolate and white parti female arrived. |

| "Stormie was crying in the kennel and poor Eli didn't know what to think, so he'd give her this look and bark at her like he was scolding her and she'd sit in the corner and shake a bit, that lasted a couple of miles and then all of a sudden she started to bark back like, leave me alone I am scared..and so then we had a bit of a barking contest back and forth...it was cute. In Fairfield I stopped to fill up and Ellie decided she was going to hold her and she ended up holding her all the way home :). By the time we got home, they are good friends, and she is playing well with Gracie and Eli last night, and if you didn't know it you would think she was one of Gracie's puppies. She's cleaning up her bum like a mom :). 5/24/08 "Stormie and Eli got me up about 5 am this morning to go potty, and she hasn't made a mess yet. She is such a round little bundle of fun. Now that she knows we are good people she is great! The girls come home from camping tomorrow and I can't wait for them to meet her." 5/25/08 "Stormie (went to the vet today) came out great, a couple of cocci in her stool, but since her stool is still firm, I am taking a wait and see approach instead of pumping her full of chemicals. The vet said there were only a couple and said to just watch her stools closely. She does rule the roost out here, and is having fun with Gracie and Eli.
