Kat's Roses

When we bought the house here in Kansas there were no roses.
My love of roses comes from my mother. She always loved
roses altho I don't recall her ever growing any. Her favorite was
white with blue tips (often done artificially). I've tried growing
roses before in Arizona but never had much luck with them, it
wasn't until my good friend Sarah (who adopted one of our
rescues) gave me some great advice and helpful tips that I really
started to have success with them. Each year we intend to add
just a few rose bushes and try the different types. I appreciate
Sarah's enthusiasm and patience in helping me learn the ins and
outs of roses. As you can tell with the photo below the Cocker
Spaniel Puppies enjoy them too!
